Installing the RIVER Extra Battery

1. Turn off RIVER. Remove the four bolts and bottom cover.

2. Connect the Extra Battery to the bottom of RIVER by aligning the connection points. Screw the bolts back in.

3. Turn RIVER upright and turn it on. If installed properly, an icon will be shown on the screen and the Extra Battery's lightstrip will come on.

RIVER Max includes the extra battery by default, which you can remove to go lightweight. RIVER Pro is made for those that need even more capacity for off-grid, long haul adventures.

Yes. RIVER can power devices up to 1200W with our proprietary technology, X-Boost. *X-Boost can run devices that require up to 1200W, however, it's best to test before use. Some 600W-1200W appliances with strict voltage requirements may not function (eg. air compressors).

Yes. You can control RIVER using your phone. Just connect to the EcoFlow app to control from afar. Here's how: Step 1: Make sure the EcoFlow App is connected to RIVER. Step 2: Make sure RIVER is on. Step 3: Make sure your device's WiFi is turned on Step 4: Find your device in the app. Then, you can start controlling your RIVER remotely.

The River has a great power management package that displays things like time to depletion, and power output numbers. It can communicate with your smartphone, and it really rocks!

I needed this product to power a heat lamp for a reptile while traveling across the country a few weeks back. I ordered it last minute and was afraid the power station would not arrive in time...I reached out to EcoFlow customer support and they responded immediately and expedited the shipping on my order at no cost! As far as the power station goes, its built well, directions and packaging are great, it charges fast, doesn't get too hot, runs quiet, and has good app.

Amazing Battery

This battery is Amazing!! I loved it so much that i bought 2. With both of the batteries we don’t have any problems keeping everything charged while camping. We use one for our fridge and the other to power everything else. We really didn’t need 2, but for the price I couldn’t pass on the other one.Thank you EcoFlow for making a great product at a affordable price!
